As you may have heard, a couple of movie channels are showing all six Star Wars movies in HD and a bunch of screencaps are starting to show up online. So tonight I have a bunch of really nice Revenge of the Sith screencaps! Attack of the Clones and the Original Trilogy will be coming shortly (I haven't been able to find any from The Phantom Menace, so if anyone knows where I could find them, please let me know!

Thanks, Marie! And Loyal Padme let me know about a inconsistency in A New Hope. In the scene where Luke as a stormtrooper rescues Leia, she has a french manicure on one hand, but not on the other: you can see it here. Good catch, Loyal Padme! Now on to the fan art!

Tournament Two: Which is the favorite Padme Headdress/Hairstyle? has begun! It was favored 69% to 31% over the handmaidens, but don't worry, we'll eventually do a handmaiden tournament two! In the meantime, go vote!

As with the first Tournament, this first round will last two weeks and all the pairings are completely random. And while I was preparing this tournament, I ran into the problem that the Nightgown and Robe, the Tatooine Blue Dress and the Blue Linen Dress all have relatively the same hairstyle. So instead of having the same thing three times, I decided to only include the Nightgown and Robe, as it is preferred to the other two, as based on everyone's Favorites. And with those two gone, I was able to include the Tatooine Peasant and Pilot Disguise hairstyles, which are both really beautiful.

So go vote! I'm really excited to see who wins this one - I correctly predicted the two finalists in the last tournament, but I'm really not sure what's going to happen with this one!

Hello! Sorry it has been a while, my dears. I'm right in the middle of finals and they have been particularly bad/painful this term. But I will be done on Monday (yay!!!!) and will have a whole month off. So there will be lots of updates coming, including the next tournament, which will be very very soon! In the meantime, I've added Tinnie's desktop calender for December. It's lovely, Tinnie!

I've added a new character to the site tonight, Bana Breemu, one of the senators from Revenge of the Sith. She wears a lovely purple gown with a really cool hood, so I've been looking forward to adding her! Here are some new scans of her:

I've got something of a backlog with my email right now, so apologies to everyone I haven't gotten back to yet! Oh, one more thing. Don't forget that on Monday at 11 AM (EST) the Rose Parade, featuring Star Wars floats, costumes, and Uncle George himself, will be airing. I hope everyone who celebrates Christmas had a wonderful day yesterday! Mine was very nice, and I had a great weekend overall hanging out with my sister and her fiance. But anyways, since I posted a bunch of Prequel Trilogy high-def screencaps last week it's time to post some A New Hope high-def screencaps today!

Like the holiday banner? It was made by the lovely Paxnea for me! I think it's great and I figured it would be perfect for the holidays! Thanks, Paxnea! I have a lot of little random things to update tonight. First up, I've scanned a new official pix of the Pre-Senate gown. I just love all the details in that picture! I also added a great Pre-Senate poster from the Dressing a Galaxy exhibit and a better version of a Pre-Senate promo shot. Thanks to Realm of Royalty and Blue Harvest respectively for those images!

And I'm pleased to announce Twinkle Star Graphics as my newest affiliate! It's the site run by TwinkleStarLeah, who regularly contributes to the site, and it's got some lovely fan art, so be sure to visit! I have some other links too. Corusca Jewel is a new RPG set on Coruscant and is the newest site of Tenae, another contributer here. Monica sent in A Forbidden Love, an Obi-Wan fansite. Also, I've been noticing that since Star Wars fandom has been in sort of a lull since the movies ended, tons of fansites have been closing and I don't really know what's out there anymore. I have another update for you kids today! First, I have a handful of bigger/better promo shots: Arena Padme, Princess Leia, Slave Leia, Slave Leia 2, Slave Leia 3. A huge thanks to the wonderful Jedda of Realm of Royalty for those! And thanks to Padme's Wardrobe for this great new promo of the Blue Linen Dress. I just love new promo shots!! And I also found a larger version of a Wedding Dress picture. So pretty!
