Design: Anakin's Revenge of the Sith costume is very similar to the standard Jedi robe seen throughout the prequels. However, to foreshadow Anakin's turn to the Dark Side, his costume consists of darker colors, like dark browns and blacks, and stronger materials, such as the leather tabards, than his Jedi contemporaries. Costume designer Trisha Biggar describes Anakin's change between AotC and RotS: "We changed his colors, and we darkened them all down, hinting at what he's going to become. Although he was quite dark brown before, there were some lighter aspects. This time, we've really taken shades of dark brown to give him a dark outline even though he's still a Jedi."
